Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a field-based technician to deliver reliable maintenance and repair services across multiple client sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, minor trades, and safety-compliant repairs, traveling daily to sites with a company van and tools.

You’ll use handheld devices to document work and coordinate with internal teams. You must have 2–5 years in mechanical trades, be capable of electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and hold a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• HS diploma or degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
• 2 to 5 years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry; or equivalent training/experience.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate status.
• Ability to use handheld devices and software including Microsoft Office.
• Comply with codes, regulations, safety policies, and company directives.
• OSHA knowledge and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems maintenance.
• Daily local travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Self performs plumbing, painting, carpentry to maintain facilities.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within state law requirements.
• Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
• Fully uses tablet/phone to access work orders and submit reports.
• Obtains materials and supplies to complete tasks.
• Maintains positive client relations and communicates with support teams.
• Participates in safety training and meetings.
• Provides estimates for larger projects and services onsite.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
