Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to deliver preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple client sites in the Glen Allen, VA area.

The role requires hands-on work across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general trades, with a company van provided and routine travel to properties. You will complete work orders, document services, and ensure safety compliance while maintaining strong customer relationships and timely communications

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades, or related fields.
• 2–5 years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry; other building trades experience welcomed.
• Must possess applicable certifications/licenses and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and procedures; write routine reports.
• Experience using handheld devices and business systems (MS Office, Lotus Notes).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Travel between properties and service client sites; operate company van.
• Complete service inspections and asset inspections; use tablets for notes and service reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal support teams; provide status updates.
