EMCOR Facilities Services in Middle River, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support site operations, perform general maintenance, and ensure a safe, well-functioning facility. You will work under the Site Supervisor, carry out inspections, and handle tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC as needed.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on facilities experience, a valid US driver’s license, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with the Site Supervisor to determine service needs.
• Coordinates and supervise client sub-contractors while performing service on site.
• Repairs of walls, floors, doors, ceilings, furniture and any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility internally & externally.
• Plumbing skills with the ability to repair and unclog toilets, urinals, replace and maintain valve assemblies and repair/maintain sensors for automatic flush kits, as well as all other plumbing related services.
• Maintain a strict PM schedule - Examples: Inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, perimeter fence trash pick-up, building interior/exterior inspections, eye wash stations, etc.
• Performs a wide variety of corrective maintenance work requests. Must have basic electrical, carpentry and HVAC skills and the mechanical ability to make minor repairs related to those skills.
• Inspection/evaluations which may include measurements of operating characteristics such as speeds, pressures or vibration; and features such as wear, replacement of expendables (i.e. belts, hoses, fluids, filters, etc.).
• Assist other skilled/trades employees to perform projects as requested.
