Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a maintenance technician to deliver preventive and corrective maintenance across commercial properties. You will travel to various sites, performing tasks in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and HVAC to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, judging when to escalate issues, and maintaining strong client relations while using handheld devices to complete work orders and reports.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of general maintenance experience, including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Background in commercial services highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders.
• Self performs plumbing maintenance on existing systems and related fixtures.
• Repairs and maintains walls, floors, doors, and painting touch-ups as needed to keep facilities in like-new condition.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance as allowed by state law and safety standards.
• Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
