Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Soft Services Manager to oversee janitorial, pest control, waste management, and landscaping across Vancouver, WA, and Portland, OR. The role requires on-site leadership, rigorous contract adherence, and frequent travel between sites using a personal vehicle.

You will manage vendor relationships, ensure government procurement standards, and coordinate rebids while aligning budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities or soft services management with vendor oversight.
• Experience with Class A office, industrial facilities, or airport properties preferred.
• Experience with government contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact for soft services across multiple sites.
• Oversee janitorial, pest control, waste management and landscaping contracts.
• Maintain documentation for government account requirements and audits.
• Drive rebidding, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, onboard providers.
• Manage projects from small improvements to large initiatives across teams.
• Respond to 24/7 on-call snow/ice emergencies and coordinate responses.
