Job summary

Slate is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the Head of Facilities across our corporate and satellite offices in Troy, MI and other U.S. locations. You will manage daily operations, vendor relations, maintenance scheduling, safety compliance, and space planning to keep offices running smoothly.

Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, coordinating office buildouts, and ensuring adherence to company standards. Travel is required (approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or related field.
• Minimum five years of facilities management experience across multiple sites.
• Experience with vendor management and contract oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational needs of corporate and satellite offices.
• Coordinate maintenance for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, access control).
• Maintain preventive maintenance program and service history in facilities system.
• Liaise with landlords and property management at leased locations.
