Slate is seeking a Head of Facilities to lead the strategic and operational management of all corporate and satellite office environments, including the Troy HQ and multiple U.S. sites. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety, and security systems, while directing preventive maintenance and capital projects.

Strong leadership, vendor management, and budget oversight are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's in Facilities Management or related field with at least 10 years'

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered with a minimum of ten years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing corporate office environments; automotive or manufacturing-adjacent industry.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or facilities maintenance operations.
• Proven track record of delivering capital and tenant improvement projects on time and on budget.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, lease administration, vendor management, and facilities compliance requirements.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed facilities portfolios.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with facilities management software (CMMS, CAFM, or similar platforms).
• Preferred: CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP designation; LEED accreditation.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day operations of all corporate and satellite office facilities, ensuring safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained environments across all locations.
• Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and security systems, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime and extend building asset life.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for landlords, property managers, and building ownership groups at all leased locations.
• Lead facilities planning for future satellite and sales office openings, including site selection, space programming, and project delivery.
• Oversee construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects from inception through completion, managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Own and manage operating facilities and capital budgets, deliver forecasts and variance reporting.
