Job summary

Slate is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the Head of Facilities in daily operations, maintenance, and project delivery across corporate and satellite offices in Troy, MI; Chicago, IL; Phoenix, AZ; Louisville, KY; and Los Angeles, CA. The role is hands-on and balances routine tasks with project coordination.

Based at the Troy HQ with regular travel, you will manage vendor relationships, oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate office moves, ensure OSHA/ADA compliance, and partner with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Experience managing service vendors and contractors, including bid solicitation and oversight.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites across locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational needs of all corporate and satellite facilities; be the escalation point for issues.
• Coordinate maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, and access control.
• Oversee vendor bids, schedules, and performance; process invoices and PO's with Finance.
• Support office renovations, moves, and new sales office buildouts; track milestones and updates.
• Ensure OSHA/ADA compliance and maintain safety records; conduct drills and training.
