Job summary

CGL is seeking a Facility Manager to supervise and coordinate maintenance staff across multiple sites, ensuring HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems meet safety and performance standards. The role includes hiring, training, performance reviews, and budget-conscious operation.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, conducting inspections, and enforcing company policies while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Advanced training or degree in building maintenance or related fields preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff, including hiring, firing, onboarding, training, and evaluations.
• Reviews work orders daily to set workload priorities and ensure timely completion.
• Oversees maintenance of MEP systems, life safety, security, and related equipment across multiple sites.
• Performs routine facility inspections to meet safety and operational standards.
• Implements policies to improve operations, reduce costs, and optimize labor and materials use.
• Maintains records and reports on work performed and staff management.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and professional interactions with staff, clients, and vendors.
• Responds to emergencies as required and coordinates with site management.
