Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, leasing, maintenance, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes personnel management, leasing, and financial oversight to maximize net operating income and resident satisfaction, with a focus on affordable housing programs and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and supervision of on-site staff.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance required and adherence to company directives.
• Develop and manage on-site staffing, training, coaching, and performance improvement.
• Develop yearly budgets and monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges.
• Develop yearly marketing plan and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and retention.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents and address resident concerns.
• Manage administrative and maintenance reporting and respond to property emergencies.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Housing industry experience 4 years
