Job summary

UniFirst is an international garment services leader seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to cover delivery routes when the Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and deliver clean garments along established routes, ensuring timely and professional service for customers.

Role requires a valid driver's license, DOT compliance, and a customer-centric mindset. You will collaborate with service and management teams, manage invoices, and participate in route

Qualifications

• Driver’s license valid, 21+ with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must meet DOT requirements, including a medical physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Prior route sales, customer service, or delivery experience a plus.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently to maintain satisfaction.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle appearance.
• Follow safety standards and traffic laws at all times.
• Collaborate with service and management to support installations, rerouting, and upsell opportunities.
• Communicate customer feedback to leadership and stay aware of local market activity.
