Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in for Route Service Representatives on various delivery routes. You will load and deliver clean garments, maintain inventory, and ensure high-quality customer interactions across diverse routes.

Ideal candidates are proactive, physically capable, and able to work independently while supporting the Service and Management Teams. Monday–Friday daytime shifts are common, with opportunities to grow within a large global garment services

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Meet all DOT requirements, including a physical examination.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable using new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Safely load, transport, and unload items; collect used garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently with problem-solving.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle appearance and safety.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Support new account installations and route rerouting; upsell where appropriate.
