Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance across apartments and properties. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds tasks, while upholding high standards of customer service and curb appeal.

You’ll manage preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and communicate with the maintenance leadership to ensure timely and quality work, maintaining safety and compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring and carpentry tasks as directed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, and other systems.
• Maintain the work order system and ensure timely completion per standards.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, weather events, fires, floods) as needed.
• Communicate issues promptly to maintenance leadership and follow up.
