Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance while upholding high standards of customer service and curb appeal. You’ll perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and grounds work at assigned properties, guided by the maintenance supervisor.

Responsibilities include maintaining work orders, inspecting property conditions, and assisting with emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC and grounds tasks as directed.
• Repair walls, countertops, cabinets, windows, doors and ceramic tiles as needed.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to meet standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety, cleanliness and needed repairs.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and communicate issues to maintenance leadership.
• Promote safety, risk management and professional conduct at all times.
