Job summary

The role involves laying out, welding, and assembling structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, and pipe according to blueprints and metallurgy.

Responsibilities include selecting materials per specifications, planning layouts, and performing welding in various positions.

Qualifications

• Experience with SMAW, GTAW and GMAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and metallurgy.
• Knowledge of welding terminology and welding inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe or other related materials according to specifications.
• Plans layouts, assembly, and welding operations.
• Uses various welding processes as specified.
• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components.
• Welds fabrications including piping systems and structural shapes.
