Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled welder capable of certifying on multi-process tubes and welding to blueprints. Proficient in SMAW, GTAW and GMAW, you will lay out, align and weld fabricated and forged components for machinery frames, tanks and piping systems.

Safety and quality compliance are essential in this role. The position involves selecting materials, planning layouts and performing welds in various positions per procedures, ensuring proper fusion and tolerances

Qualifications

• Ability to certify on multi-process tubes and perform welds to spec.
• Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW and GMAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and metallurgy for assembly.
• Experience with weld quality inspection and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe or materials according to specifications.
• Lay out, align and weld components for machinery frames, tanks and piping.
• Operates various welding processes and positions as required by procedures.
• Ensure welds meet depth, fusion and dimensional tolerances.
