Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an experienced welder capable of certifying on multi-process pipe and proficient in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW. The role involves laying out, aligning and welding fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and piping systems.

You will select materials, plan layouts, and apply welding techniques across flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding codes and safety procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and metallurgy concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, align and weld components to assemble structures per drawings.
• Select pipe sizes and plan layouts for welding operations.
• Operate multiple welding processes and inspect welds for quality.
• Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.
