Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to oversee tax preparation operations across multiple locations within a district. You will manage seasonal staff, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies.

You will help maximize customer service and sales, coordinate recruiting, handle administrative tasks, monitor performance, and prepare tax returns with training provided. This is an in-person role in Mississippi.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• PTIN preferred and relevant tax experience is a plus.
• Minimum one year of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise seasonal hourly staff at one location or kiosk.
• Coordinate recruitment, interviewing and hiring for locations.
• Maximize customer service and increase sales.
• Perform administrative functions and filing tasks.
• Develop and monitor office work schedules and hours.
• Monitor performance and ensure quality standards.
• Review various reports and take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain filing system for tax returns and documentation.
• Follow up with clients to file tax returns.
• Lead tax return preparations (training provided).
• Deliver supplies to store locations.
