Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to oversee seasonal tax-prep operations across multiple locations in East Tennessee. You will drive performance, manage staff, and ensure quality and customer service.

This in-person role requires supervisory experience, a PTIN, and solid computer skills. You will work under general supervision and help maximize revenue and office profitability.

Competenze

• High School Degree or equivalent related business experience.
• Course of study in management or in tax preparation and/or accounting preferred.
• Previous tax preparation experience and possess a PTIN.
• One year of previous management or supervisory experience desired.
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications such as electronic mail, internet browser, Word, Excel, and accounting or tax preparation software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Supervises one or more seasonal hourly staff members at a single location or kiosk.
• Communicates with the Manager on recruiting, interviewing and hiring of seasonal employees for assigned locations.
• Maximize customer service and increase sales.
• Performs administrative functions.
• Develops, reviews, approves, and monitors office work schedules and hours worked.
• Monitors associate performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
• Reviews productivity and other reports and takes appropriate action.
• Maintains filing system for tax returns.
• Follows up with clients to encourage filing.
• Team Leads will also prepare tax returns (training provided).
• Deliver supplies to locations.
