Job summary

Penn Station Sandwiches is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support 13 restaurant locations across Middle Tennessee and Bowling Green, KY. The role is essential to keeping our restaurants operational and safe, and requires hands-on maintenance across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance experience, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently at several locations, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
• Experience working with restaurant or commercial kitchen equipment is highly preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills and attempt unfamiliar repairs using available resources (manuals, videos, manufacturer guides, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations
• Flexible and reliable with emergency response availability
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working days, nights, weekends, and overnight hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple restaurant locations
• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical
• Repair grills, fryer, oven, refrigeration and basic electrical/mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Communicate repairs, timelines, and needed parts to management
• Travel between locations as needed and maintain a safe, organized work environment
