Job summary

UNIS is seeking an HR Generalist to drive HR operations across multiple locations, including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, leave administration, and the overall workforce lifecycle. The role reports to the Regional HR Manager and emphasizes process optimization and people-first practices.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, including Generalist responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII) and investigations.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, leave/benefits, performance management, and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on HR support across multiple locations, maintain accurate records, manage changes, and generate reports.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers, addressing policies, benefits, and processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, status changes, promotions, performance documentation, and exits across multi-state operations.
• Oversee leave administration, accommodations, benefits coordination, and attendance processes.
• Ensure HR compliance across multiple states with proper recordkeeping, notices, and training tracking.
