Job summary

UniFirst First Aid + Safety in Florida seeks an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across locations. You will collaborate with hiring managers, manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, orientations, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and safety standards.

You’ll oversee payroll support, HRIS use, and policy rollouts, contributing to a strong, compliant, and employee-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably supporting multi-location workforce.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and multi-state employment laws.
• Proficient in HRIS, timekeeping software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Manage and provide HR support for full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth integration.
• Address employee concerns and resolve issues confidentially.
• Build relations with remote teams and internal staff as liaison.
• Support managers with performance issues, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
