UniFirst First Aid + Safety seeks an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across multiple locations. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, orientations, employee relations, payroll assistance, and policy rollout while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably supporting multi-location workforce.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, regulations and multi-state compliance.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills to support remote and in-person teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
• Manage and provide HR support for full-cycle recruitment including onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth integration.
• Address employee concerns and resolve issues confidentially.
• Support payroll administration and timekeeping accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and training requirements.
• Coordinate policy rollout and ensure consistency across locations.
• Gather employee feedback and conduct regular check-ins with remote staff.
