Job summary

RangeWater is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure indoor/outdoor spaces meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role focuses on timely repairs, making-ready tasks for vacant units, and supporting cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when possible.

The ideal candidate will handle resident work orders promptly, communicate effectively with residents and team members, and participate in safety trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in maintenance or building operations is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and common area equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents within 24–48 hours and perform timely repairs.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and prepare spaces for leasing.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when possible.
• Manage materials and inventory, document work, and report needs to supervisor.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and colleagues.
