Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across property grounds and units.

You will complete resident-requested work orders, perform routine upkeep, and assist with make-ready inspections for new leases. The role requires strong communication, cost-conscious repairs, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and delivery skills to connect with people at all levels.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database reporting for reporting purposes.
• Experience with property management software (Entrata, Yardi and/or One Site) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications and any state/local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders within 24–48 hours and perform maintenance to meet property standards.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units, coordinating with vendors and scheduling tasks.
• Repair components to help control costs and avoid unnecessary replacements.
• Track inventory, resources, and re-order supplies as needed.
• Document work orders clearly for accurate records and reporting.
• Oversee contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Attend safety meetings and follow RangeWater safety policies.
