Rita Staffing in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounting Clerk to join a small, established office team. This full-time, temp-to-hire role supports accounting for multiple entities and requires organization, dependability, and attention to detail.

You will process AP for multiple entities, perform bank reconciliations, maintain QuickBooks Online records, and assist with journal entries. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., in office.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable/accounting experience with multiple entities.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with bank reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Professional, dependable and team-oriented.
• QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
• AppFolio or Rent Manager experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable for multiple entities.
• Review and allocate credit card expenses and bill backs.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Scan checks and maintain accounting records and files.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate information in QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with journal entries based on experience.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed.
