Job summary

Log Still Distillery, LLC in Kentucky seeks a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to own daily accounts payable and accounts receivable across our family of entities. This hands-on role ensures clean, timely, and accurate transactional data feeding our ledgers and trial balances, primarily using Dynamics 365 BC and QuickBooks Online.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping, AP/AR, or general accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping fundamentals.
• High attention to detail and ownership over accuracy and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new accounting software.
• Able to work on-site in New Haven, KY.
• Excellent customer service – using every interaction to impress customers.
• Ability to make others feel welcome with authenticity and kindness.
• Exceptional time management and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Process the full AP cycle—receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices; manage the AP inbox; match invoices to PO/receipts; prepare payments; keep vendor records clean.
• Backlog cleanup: catch up open/aged AP and establish sustainable daily cadence.
• Enter and apply customer invoices and payments; monitor AR aging; support timely collections.
• Code each transaction to the correct entity, department, and market dimensions for accurate ledgers.
• Daily entries across Dynamics 365 BC and QuickBooks Online; support monthly Import process.
• Assist with bank/credit-card reconciliations and monthly close.
• Maintain organized financial records and support the finance team with ad hoc tasks.
