Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to help members navigate medication therapy management and adherence. You will work with pharmacists and external partners to coordinate MTM interventions and ensure timely access to prescribed medications.

The role requires strong communication with patients and healthcare providers, bilingual abilities a plus, and a certification or license in good standing. Benefits and competitive compensation available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Experience communicating with patients, providers, and pharmacists about medications.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) or licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication lists to eliminate barriers and support adherence as the member's Pharmacy Navigator.
• Assist members in obtaining refills, new prescriptions, appointments, and access to medications, including financial assistance when needed.
• Coordinate MTM interventions with Healthfirst pharmacists and external partners.
• Monitor member medication adherence in collaboration with community pharmacies.
• Conduct patient health assessments to identify barriers to adherence and inform care planning.
• Handle member and provider communications by phone; in-person as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
