Job summary

Allierad LLC, a Houston-based MSP, seeks a Level 2 Technician with substantial MSP experience to support multiple client environments. The role spans Microsoft 365, Entra ID, AD, and network troubleshooting, plus security and backup tasks.

You will mentor junior staff, document work, and participate in on-call rotations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in MSP IT support, strong scripting and automation skills, and solid knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT support, MSP experience with multiple clients.
• Hands-on with Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, IT Glue.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 admin skills.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
• Networking knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP.
• Backup/restore operations and endpoint security experience.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated tickets across servers, networking, cloud, and endpoints with root-cause analysis.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, and AD/GP.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless.
• Maintain Windows Server, virtualization, and backup/disaster recovery.
• Deliver projects: migrations, server refreshes, office deployments, 365 tenant builds.
• Support security operations: EDR, patch management, MFA, email security.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Manage tickets in Autotask PSA, respond to alerts, deploy scripts in Datto RMM.
