Riverside Recruiting is seeking a MSP IT Support Engineer for a full-time role in the Cleveland/Akron area. The position is mostly remote with occasional on-site work and requires living in the Cleveland/Akron area.

Responsibilities include technical client support, ticket management, and escalation to senior engineers when needed. The role emphasizes strong communication, troubleshooting skills, and a background check and nicotine/drug screening as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• IT Support at a MSP is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities are required.
• Background check and drug/nicotine screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients.
• Prioritize and manage tickets.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email.
• Resolve Level 1 and Level 2 tickets.
• Escalate Level 3 tickets to senior engineers as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with responsive support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve wireless network issues.
• Respond to issues detected by monitoring tools.
• Create, disable, and reset passwords and permissions.
• Deploy desktops and laptops and train users.
• Detect and remove viruses and malware.
• Document configurations and changes.
• Install printers and perform troubleshooting.
• Upgrade software and hardware.
• Configure Office 365 email.
