Job summary

LMT Technology Solutions, a trusted MSP, is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer to deliver onsite and remote support for a diverse client base. You will work with a collaborative team, provide proactive maintenance, and serve as a Level 2 escalation resource to resolve complex issues.

Strong documentation and client communication are essential. Based primarily at our Pittsford, NY headquarters with travel to Rochester-area client sites and occasional Buffalo-area onsite visits, you will contribute

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience supporting servers, workstations, printers and network switches.
Experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server, and AD.
365 users, SharePoint accounts management experience.
Experience with Hyper-V or ESXi hypervisors.
Ability to diagnose and prioritize client issues with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as A+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement IT solutions for client needs.
Conduct proactive system monitoring and preventive maintenance tasks.
Accurately document all client interactions, configurations, and resolutions in the PSA platform.
Respond to ticket escalations and participate in Level 2 support queue.
