Job summary

ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is a White Plains, NY-based MSP seeking a skilled System Administrator to deliver remote and on-site IT support for clients primarily in Westchester County and NYC. You will manage Windows Server environments, Office 365, networking, and cloud tasks, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Solid networking knowledge and ability to manage IT infrastructure end‑to‑end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with clients.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team; reliable commute to White Plains.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency.
• Monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations.
• Administer Office 365 including user management and email configurations.
• Configure network protocols (TCP/IP) and ensure secure connectivity.
• Use ConnectWise and other RMM tools for monitoring and management.
• Assist cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments.
• Document procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks to encourage growth.
