Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Elite Radiology facilities in Duluth, GA. This is a full-time on-site role delivering cross-sectional MR images for diagnostic interpretation, under licensed supervision, while upholding safety and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has ARRT(MR) certification, a state license if required, ACLS within 30 days, and strong skills in EMR, PACS, and DICOM. You will work across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality imaging and compliance with

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification and state license as required.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong patient safety and ability to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality MRI images for interpretation.
• Prepare, administer and document contrast according to policy.
• Maintain EMR, PACS and DICOM systems and ensure timely image transfer.
• Interact with radiologists, staff and patients with clear communication.
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants as needed.
