Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MR studies and ensure patient safety on site or remotely. You will coordinate with radiologists and staff to deliver accurate imaging and patient-centered care, including training new technologists and assistants as needed.

You must hold MR registration and state licensure, with CPR certification. The role may involve travel and hybrid on-site or remote responsibilities as part of a multi-site imaging team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; required
• MR registered technologist ARRT or ARMRIT; required
• State Radiologic or MR technologist license; required where applicable
• CPR certification; BLS on hire, ACLS within 90 days where applicable

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies, on site or remote
• Operate multiple MR systems as needed
• Communicate effectively with Radiologist, team members, patients, and customers
• Train/orient new technologists and assistants on site or remotely
• Contribute to patient care and support during mobile environment duties
• Adhere to safety protocols and pre-screening guidelines
