Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for Elite Radiology facilities in Georgia. The role is full-time and involves producing MRI images, handling contrast administration, and ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

Candidates must have ARRT(MR) and a state license, ACLS within 30 days of hire, and the ability to work at multiple locations. Beneficial qualifications include an associate degree and prior MRI experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification and state license are required.
• ACLS certification or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work at several locations as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross-sectional MRI images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Prepare, administer, and document contrast administration in accordance with laws and policies.
• Interact with healthcare staff and patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Operate EMR, PACS and DICOM systems; ensure timely image transmission.
• Train and orient new technologists or assistants as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
