Job summary

Akumin seeks an MRI Technologist for Elite Radiology to produce cross-sectional MRI images for diagnostic interpretation. You will perform MRI procedures, acquire data, and assist licensed practitioners under applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include patient safety, contrast administration, and operation of EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems. ARRT(MR) certification, state license, ACLS, and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification and state license required.
• ACLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work at multiple locations and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality MRI images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Perform MRI procedures and data acquisition under licensed practitioner guidance.
• Administer and document contrast administration per regulations.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance while communicating clearly with staff and families.
