Job summary

Akumin Inc. is hiring an MRI Technologist for Elite Radiology facilities across Stockbridge, Decatur, Duluth, Lithia Springs, and Marietta, GA. This full-time role focuses on producing high-quality MRI images, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with radiologists and staff.

Responsibilities include image acquisition, contrast administration, and maintaining accurate EMR/PACS/DICOM workflows. ACLS may be required within 30 days; ARRT MR and state license are essential where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT MR certification and state license (where applicable).
• ACLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and demonstrate patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MRI cross-sectional images.
• Ensure patient safety and correct pre-screening for contraindications.
• Administer and document contrast administration per policy.
• Operate and troubleshoot multiple MR systems and related equipment.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and communicate effectively with staff.
• Train and orient technologists and assistants as needed.
