Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for Elite Radiology facilities in Stockbridge, GA. This full-time role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging, and efficient workflow aligned with RadSite/ACR/ARRT standards.

Requires ARRT(MR) certification and state licensure if applicable; ACLS within 30 days; strong customer service and teamwork; familiarity with EMR, PACS, and DICOM systems. Benefits include a $5,000 sign-on and comprehensive medical options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• ARRT(MR) certification and state license, if applicable.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge and software familiarity.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening and order verification.
• Produce high quality MR images per imaging protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and peers.
• Manage contrast safety and IV administration as needed.
• Operate EMR, PACS and DICOM workflows to avoid delays.
• Train and orient new technologists and assistants as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
