Job summary

Akumin Elite Radiology in Georgia seeks a full-time MRI Technologist to perform cross-sectional imaging, manage contrast safety, and ensure patient comfort while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

You will operate multiple MR systems, maintain EMR/PACS workflows, and train junior technologists; ARRT MR licensure and ACLS within 30 days are required, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) and State License, if applicable.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work at several locations, as needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening and order verification.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images per protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and peers.
• Demonstrate contrast safety and IV administration competency.
• Maintain EMR, PACS and DICOM workflows for timely image delivery.
• Train and orient new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
