Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist at Elite Radiology facilities in Georgia. The role involves producing cross-sectional MRI images for diagnostic interpretation under licensed supervision, while maintaining safety and patient-centered care.

The candidate should have ARRT(MR) certification and a state license if applicable, ACLS within 30 days, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification and state license, if applicable.
• ACLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at several locations, as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for patient safety by pre-screening and order verification.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images per protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists and peers; maintain HIPAA.
• Demonstrate contrast safety and IV administration as needed.
• Train and orient new technologists and MR Techs, on site or remote.
