Job summary

Bon Secours Reynolds Crossing MRI Department is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform daily modality operations. You will conduct MRI scans per protocol, assist in training students, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

Strong patient communication and safety focus are essential. Minimum 1 year MRI hospital experience is preferred; ARRT MRI Registry or ARMRIT is required, with BLS certification at hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of MRI department experience in hospital setting (preferred).
• ARRT MRI Registry or ARMRIT certification required.
• State licensure preferred unless required by the state of employment.
• BLS certification required at hire for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and related equipment per protocol under Radiologist direction.
• Contributes to training and onboarding of new staff and students.
• Ensures patient safety, comfort and privacy during procedures.
• Assesses and documents patient history and consent; screens for metal safety.
• Performs contrast administration and selects appropriate scan parameters.
• Maintains QC and collaborates with other modalities and departments.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and audits.
