Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Southside Medical Center. The role involves performing MRI exams, selecting appropriate pulse sequences, and ensuring patient safety per department protocols.

You will contribute to training new staff and students, maintain QA standards, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging services in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registry required or ARMRIT (required)
• State licensure preferred (unless required by state)
• BLS required at hire for some locations; preferred prior to independent patient care
• 1 year of MRI department experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI systems and coils per protocol and physician request.
• Provide patient care, verify information, obtain consent, and explain procedures.
• Maintain safety and quality through QA and routine equipment checks.
• Assist in training students and onboarding new staff.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure smooth workflow and audits.
