Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for St. Mary's Hospital in Virginia. The role involves daily MRI operations, assisting physicians, and training new staff. You will evaluate safety, prep patients, and ensure high-quality imaging results.

A strong focus on patient care and teamwork is required. Requirements include ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT, BLS, and state licensure if applicable. Experience preferred; EPIC/PACS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year MRI department experience preferred.
• ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification required at hire or prior to independent patient care

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI modality per established protocols under Radiologist direction.
• Train and onboard new employees and supervise MRI students.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Ensure imaging quality and perform routine QC as required.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to optimize patient care.
