Bon Secours Richmond is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to support the Radiology department. You will operate the MRI system, position patients, administer contrast as required, and ensure patient safety and image quality under the Radiologist’s supervision.

The role involves training/mentoring new staff and students, contributing to QC, and collaborating with other modalities. ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT is required; BLS certification is needed for certain Mercy locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree/certificate in Radiologic Technology; ARRT registered preferred
• ARRT MRI registry or ARMRIT registration required
• BLS from American Heart Association; required for some locations
• Minimum 1 year MRI department experience in a hospital setting
• EPIC EHR and PACS training preferred

Responsabilités

• Operates MRI system and related equipment per protocol
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Contributes to training and onboarding of new staff and students
• Maintains QC and collaborates with radiology team on audits and performance improvement
