Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an MRI Technologist for Reynolds Crossing. The role focuses on daily modality operations, MRI procedure execution per protocol, and patient safety. The tech will assist in training new staff and students, while maintaining QC and collaborating with other departments to ensure quality care.

Requirements include MRI Registry (ARRT/ARMRIT), ARRT or ARMRIT-related certifications, and BLS. On-site Virginia location with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree at ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• MRI Registry from ARRT or ARMRIT required; state licensure preferred in many locations.
• BLS from AHA required at hire for some Bon Secours locations; preferred before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and selects coils, sequences, and parameters per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort; screens for metal and contraindications.
• Administers IV contrast as required and documents patient history and consent.
• Trains and orients MRI students and new staff; participates in performance-improvement projects.
• Maintains QC and quality control duties; collaborates with other modalities.
