Job summary

Bon Secours MRI Imaging - Southside RMC in Petersburg seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams, ensure safety, and contribute to staff training. The role involves operating scanners, selecting protocols, and maintaining quality control, under radiologist supervision.

The ideal candidate has an ARRT MRI registry, BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience, with a focus on patient care and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• MRI Registry/ARRT or ARMRIT required.
• State licensure preferred where required.
• BLS certification required or as per location policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system and coils to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Supervise and train students and new staff.
• Participate in quality control and departmental audits.
• Coordinate with radiologists for exam planning and report delivery.
