Atlantic Health is seeking an MRI technologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging equipment. You will position patients, apply appropriate coils, and ensure safety while monitoring the exam from the control room.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Radiology, ARRT NJDEP license or MR certification, and BLS certification. You will join a team serving multiple New Jersey facilities with emphasis on image quality and patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Requires an Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent
• State license for ARRT through NJDEP or MR certification through ARMRIT
• BLS certification required

Aufgaben

• Position patients and coils for MRI exams according to radiologist instructions
• Communicate with patient and technologist using microphone during scans
• Enter patient history and scan parameters into the computer
• Set up and adjust scan sequences, transmitters, and receivers
• Monitor patient safety and comfort from control room during imaging
• Verify image quality on display screens and document findings
• Note safety alerts regarding metal objects in magnet and equipment procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned
