Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, seeks an MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (8pm–6am). Eligibility includes ARRT MR or ARMRIT cross-training, BLS, and MRI proficiency; sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available.

You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure safety, and collaborate with radiologists while delivering patient-centered imaging and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT cross-training in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire
• Proficiency across MRI specialty areas as required

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/ modality competency in clinical functions
• Prepare patients and verify identities
• Perform MRI exams per protocol and ensure image quality
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines
• Complete studies within time limits while upholding patient care
• Instruct other MRI staff and students in procedures
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate equipment and related information systems
• Keep accurate patient records
• Follow coding, billing, and QC procedures
