Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 7 on-7 off graveyard shift (8pm-6am). The role focuses on diagnostic MRI exams, patient care, and high-quality imaging in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 plus relocation assistance. ARRT MR/ARMRIT or equivalent, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT as Level II credential.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/ARRT or ARMRIT MRI competency.
• Verify patient identity and prepare patient for exam.
• Perform exams per protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain safe environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising care.
• Instruct students and MRI staff on protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique.
• Operate equipment and information systems for quality imaging.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC and equipment issues.
