Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT is seeking an MRI Technologist for a graveyard 7 on–7 off schedule (8pm–6am). The role involves performing diagnostic MRI exams, adhering to safety protocols, and working closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available, with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will hold ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification (or cross-trained in MRI), possess a BLS

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI credentials required or cross-trained
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• IV competency within 30 days of hire
• Preferred 1–2 years MRI technologist experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in MRI
• Prepare patients and verify identity for exams
• Perform MRI exams per protocol and review images for quality
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits while ensuring quality
• Instruct students and other MRI staff on protocols and equipment
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate imaging systems and recordkeeping accurately
• Follow coding, charging, and QC protocols
